Meditation: Enough for Today

Enough for Today

Seeking ripe fruit, I am scratched and cut by thorns. The dense thicket conceals my path. Rewards are elusive. I’ve grown weary of this hunt. With a small taste of sweetness, I am momentarily recharged. Instead of pushing on, I stop to savor.

The abundance in my life sustains me. What is here on today’s table is meant for me—no more, no less. I have enough to keep and enough to share.
